Aeromotive Design was founded in 2009 by Imran Afzal Mughal and Dr. Inam Ullah with the objective of delivering advanced product development solutions, engineering and design services, and specialized training in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) to assist industry for learning / adoption to modern design and CAE technologies. Aeromotive has partnered leading industries of Pakistan for this purpose.
Since its inception, the company has been revamped by Imran Afzal Mughal and Dr. Shahid Iqbal with a strong focus on the automotive sector, aiming to transform the regional mobility landscape through electric and robo-mobility solutions.
Imran Design offers services for design. This includes concept development to computer aided engineering to prototyping.
Aero and Fateh work for manufacturing of 2, 3 and 4 wheeler products.

He has developed numerous feasibility reports for automotive and other projects.
Imran Afzal Mughal is an accomplished automotive designer and engineer with more than 25 years of experience of designing, engineering and mass production. He Co-Founded of Zyp Technologies Inc. The product line, assembly, frame and wiring harness manufacturing facilities for Zyp are developed by him.
Belonging to the pioneer batch Mr. Imran graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the GIK Institute. He has done Masters in Automotive Design Research from the Coventry University, Coventry UK. He started his career with Trans Mobile and then moved to Volvo to contribute to setting up quality assurance department.
He has taught at Coventry University as Lecturer. He also completed projects with Ford and PSA - Peugeot Citroen Group.
On coming back from Coventry University he joined Adam Motor Company and lead the engineering team over the development of Adam Revo, the first ever car designed and developed in Pakistan.
He joined Land Rover and led development team to manufacture parts and components locally.
Dr. Shahid Iqbal
Dr. Shahid Iqbal is PhD in electrochemistry with his research work in fuel cells. He has arranged/developed equipment for motor & cell testing along with cell welding for USPCASE NUST. He is also involved in sourcing quality Lithium cells from different sources and their testing to support R&D on automotive electric drivetrain through academic platform. He has also completed feasibility study of manufacturing cells of different chemistries in Pakistan. He is developing network for the sale of Evs and he has successfully sold Evs through his growing network of showrooms.
After completing Master Degree in Applied Chemistry from UET in 1999, he co-founded Systec Technologies to sell analytic and advance research equipment to the leading engineering universities from prominent German and US brands like GUNT, Gamry, Walter + Bai. During last 26 years he was not only actively engaged in improving his technical skills by getting training from international manufacturers at their facility as well. He completed his doctoral degree in Electrochemistry from University of Bonn, Germany in 2015.
He is also engaged in academic activity in Fatima Jinnah Women University and NUTECH, Islamabad and share his vast experience with PhD, Master and bachelor students. Over the past two decades, he developed strategic alliances with the manufacturing and services companies – having technological edge in the fields Technical Education, Test & measurement and Instruments related to Analytical & Biomedical sciences in order to satisfy the growing needs of the upstream Research & Development activities of Pakistani Educational Sector.
